You can test that revisited rigs ability in the snow this weekend it looks like,,,, Those tires look like they would be great in the white stuff!

Rogers, I am in awe! That revamp that you (and Steve) did on your ride is phenominal, even inspirational. I know you had one of the very best whispering in your ear, but, even so, amazing success! I almost always end up on TAME trail (Trial and mostly error).

These recently came out, but I think I'm sticking with 4.88's for my 40's. With a NP205 doubler I should have plenty of gearing. I think your 10r80 will be perfectly fine as well: https://revolutiongear.com/ford-10-...io-37-spline-ring-and-pinion-revolution-gear/
I agree. When i bought my 4.88 I had actually tried to get the last of the Nitro Gear 5.38 that they had for the rear but they sold out and stopped making more. I'm glad that I got the 4.88 now with the lower gearing in my 10r80. My mind was still stuck on compensating for C4 or AOD when I wanted the 5.38.
