12v direct to the rear for powered speaker

I don't believe there is one, but thought I would ask if there was a fused 12v run to the rear of the truck (74)? I have enough wire to run directly from the battery to under the rear seat, but was hoping not to have to drill holes and loom a single 14G wire the length of the under carriage.

Other than the trailer battery charging circuit offered in newer trucks I've never seen that. I've added a battery hot running the rear of the vehicle to almost every vehicle that I've owned in the last 20+ years. Isolated studs are the likely tap-in points, 10 ga wire, fused at 30A

Yep, add your own.
Back then, for a Bronco especially, a “powered circuit“ included a long series of driveshafts and u-joints to a PTO drive mechanism on the transfer case. 😉😁

Are you suggesting to hook up a generator to the PTO output of the transfer case? LOL

Actually, funny you mention generator. I was actually thinking that when I wrote about the PTO. I bet back in the day somebody had one.
