More improvements for the 69. Someone will be getting some nice seats at least. 😄 Also found an ash tray, a decent dash pad and a horn button as well in my stash. Installed the headlights, and they work! So the starter in it turned out to be dead, first old used replacement starter took a few hammer blows to get going then it too died. second used starter did the trick, we have engine cranking now, but no spark. I'll be chasing that down next.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet or not, but what is the build month for this rig?

Thanks,
Todd Z.

Every time I think I don’t need anything else, something like this comes up. LOVE IT!!!
Well, make an offer and hook up the trailer 😁
I think I do have a windshield to go with it.
Thanks for the compliments on it everyone. I’m enjoying tinkering on this one, figure whatever I do can’t possibly make it any worse!

I’ll have to check on that later today. Can give the exact dates as I have a marti report on it.
I know the dso was New Jersey and was ordered as a fleet vehicle or something. Also with limited slip differentials front and rear.

You're welcome!
Made a quick "temporary" floor pan out of 10 gauge aluminum to cover the big hole where the original driver's floor pan used to exist. Goes well with the custom Swiss stainless kick panel.

Ok, so in the continuation of the patchwork theme on this Bronco, the "temporary" floor pan is now installed. I used aluminum pop rivets and seam sealer to install it so it could be more easily removed down the road should someone wish to do so, vs just welding a big flat panel over it as they did on the passenger side. Slapped a little paint on both floor pans for good measure, and at least now they match. The paint is still wet in those pictures, should dry to a satin finish 😁

Alright, the floor pan paint is dry, ready for some nice floor mats. 😁

And since the Marti report said it came with a right side mirror, i installed one on each side.
Also, here's a picture from when I pulled it out of back yard storage a couple of months ago.

Looks much happier now.

Yup, i remember that one, very cool truck. it's funny too that the majority of patina builds always seem to be some shade of a teal to green color.... must've been something special in that particular paint color that preserved those old vehicles better!
