Have you tried one of your 10.50's yet? That's cutting it close!

This is Lee S. out of Cali. Dusty got me in touch with him recently as I've been having questions with an uncut buildup too.

The pictured tires are 33 x 10.50 x 15 on stock rims. He says he gets rubbing on the utmost articulation, but he hopes to go with a 12.5 tire eventually with a custom wheel.

I'd say if you're doing 10.5 tires on those same rims you have pictured, you're gonna be cutting it real close without rolling the fender lip. I wouldn't mess with it anyway. It looks good. Are you just trying to get a little more stable of a stance?

ive only got 3 good 9.5's, the 4th has a cut in it. i just test fitted the 2 on the rear(i knew the front would clear fine). the wheels are the late model factory 15x7 f150/fsb wheels with 4" of bs. i dont really like the look of the 9.5 on my wheels...the tires just arent wide enough. plus bfg discontinued the 9.5 m/t's, but they still make the a/t's in a 9.5.

not trying to make it more stable, just want to try to stay away from the 9.5 because of the look and the lack of availability ;D

Bummer! I didn't realize they discounted the 33 x 9.5 MTs. Just looked at Tire Rack's site...yep...only 10.5. Hmmm...let me know what you find out. I was looking at 33 BFG Muds for my uncut (gonna be 10.5 now I guess) or those TSL skinny 34s...but I don't think those are radials and I wanted a radial. Hmmm. Keep me posted on your '77.

I used to run 33x9.50s cut with 2.5 lift I really liked them on the hiway and they were good offroad except they felt a little tippy during off camber stuff. I still have a couple 1/4 thread that I use as spares. You might try some of the local tire shops or ebay as there are still a few new ones floating around. They tried to sell me some when I went to the 10.50's
I know you are looking for pics of uncut broncos with the 10.50's I just snapped these pics of mine they should show what you are looking for even if it is cut. My rims are 15x8 with 3 5/8" back space although it could be 3 3/4" back space I cant remember right now.

rednck,
how much do those rub the front edge of your fender. I am thinking of doing the same lift/tire combo you have currently and do not want to roll the lip or cut.

Thanks

I am the other guy with the red uncut Bronco. PM me if you have any questions. I would be happy to answer them. Ive had mine for a while now and love them. The AT works fine for me but it really sucks that they discontinued the MT.
