No, I've never heard of one that came with a Boss 302. Not saying that somebody somewhere along the lines didn't put one in a Baja... they just didn't come outta Stroppe's shop with one.

Yeah, that one is in the Registry. It's actually one of the first ones I ever found, back in 88 I think when I was in HS. I've seen it in person - it's a nice Baja, tho modified. Seems like a decent deal, tho theres nothing really to compare it to on the market recently or currently.

I know of one owner who has put a Boss 302 in his Baja, and heard of maybe 1 or 2 others. I suppose if you wanted a Boss 302 in your brand new Baja, Stroppe's shop would have done it - none found documented as of yet.

That 72 sold by the way, after 2 days on the market!

Hey Mike, there you are. I have the key fobs available, only they have the Registry Web site www.bajabronco.com on the back instead of Stroppes addy. Save that one you have, I think it's one of 4-5 known to exist and one of the few that was actually used as a keychain over the years. I know 3 of them are NOS.

I really like your Baja - I remember when I saw it originally at an AMPM back in 88, I wasn't sure if it was a Baja because of the marker lights not being on it. It wasnt til 98 or 99 when i actually spoke to Joe at lenght and learned the history of the truck and the subtle mods he did. Cool stuff. We took a ride in that thing maybe 2 years ago, and it was faaast. PM me or email me at ParkLane@aol.com for the key fob.

You should museum that one and roll a Bajabronco.com one. I dont know what thats worth. I know it's one more. When there were 5 known to exist they were worth alot, now there are 6....worth nothing now. :) I have one, Mike has one, my friend in AZ has one, early kit Baja guy in FL has one, someone else I'm forgetting...and you. Maybe theres more too. Who knows whats tucked away in this drawer and that all over the world.
