Does anyone know the elderly gentleman from Colorado that had these two Bill Stroppe Baja Edition Bronco`s and these other four Bronco`s that he just sold them to a guy from Virginia. These six Bronco`s sale on February 25, 2023, in Greensboro, NC at the GAA Auction. I was finally able to talk with the consignor today and he said he bought all six of these Bronco`s from this gentleman that I mention above. He said he did not know any history on any of them and of course he would not tell me the gentleman's name. Someone on this forum here has to know this guy that had this fabulous collection of Bronco`s, I would just like to talk with him about some history on these Bronco`s. Any help would be greatly appreciated on finding this gentleman. Here is a picture of the six of them if this helps identify the gentleman and the two Bill Stroppe Baja Edition Bronco`s, 1972 U15GLM85426 and 1973 U15GLQ80780. If you don`t want to identify him in this post here, please call or text me at 336-516-6573. Thank you for your help.

Both of those show a TX owner and a CA owner on the Baja Registry, so the CO guy must not have ever updated the info.

Thanks Bobby, the guy told me today he bought all six of them from an elderly gentleman from Colorado and would not let me talk with him or give me history on any of them. You would think someone would know this gentleman on this site here with all six of these high dollar Bronco`s. Theses' aren`t your run of mill Bronco`s. Who knows ?

Cant imagine Wayne sold these but that is the one everyone thinks of when you say Baja and Colorado.

yeah, wayne didn't sell him all those Broncos to my knowledge and I wouldn't consider him elderly either? So maybe it's another Colorado guy? But I have ownership chain on the Bajas and I sold the virginia party the halfcab.... so theres 3 accounted for.

Well, for prospective buyers, as a service, I can put together everything I know about each Baja, including old pictures, etc. PM me if you are interested in knowing more before you bid.

Good man...

I was out on the Limestone Ranger for $85k, does anyone else out here have one for sale like this one in this condition. Let`s talk about it. PM me on what you have. Thanks

PS: You had to pay an 8% in person, 10% phone bid or 11% internet buyer's premium on top of those prices above and don`t forget about the 1977 Red Sport that brought $120k on Thursday evening. This same Bronco sold on Bring a Trailer last year in March for $71,500, what has changed that much in this Bronco in 11 months to increase that much ? Here it is a picture of it.

I was somewhat skeptical of the Baja sale on BAT, but after today’s sales I just stand in amazement.

I hate you didn't get it man, You definitely put the work in being at the auction. Do you know if Pete(I think that was his name) got the explorer?
