What makes the '66 doors more apt to crack there? I don't think that's a problem with other years?

It does seem that the early trucks do crack more in that location. My 67 had cracks on both doors at that location and a 68 I had was cracked there too. I also know of a 66 and another 67 that was cracked in the same spot. But all the other broncos I have had 70-77 did not have cracks there? Its a mystery of the broncos!

Maybe due to less rigidity since the window frames bolt in and may be looser on the early ones?
