    Installing GT40P Heads on 1968 302?

Not knowing the spec's of the "mild cam" no one can say if the springs are good. It's my understanding the limitations of the GT40P heads are not spring pressure but lift of the cam. The stock springs can't handle more than the stock cam. Explorer F4TE-6250-BA Hydraulic Roller Intake at 1.6...

Help with Transmission and Transfer Case Removal

I used the same t-jack as well. I built a box that fit around the t-case with wedges in locations to hold the t-case so it could not move. Someone on here posted pics of a box they built which was my inspection. Tim

Something wrong with my explorer efi swap

Yeah, that cam is going to need more air IMO. I suggest reading up on the Stang board. Lots of fixes and tuning tips out there. Some drill holes in the T-body plate....I'm NOT a fan of that. Seems drastic...... Maybe a call to EFI guy and ask him what he suggests on the ECM...

Something wrong with my explorer efi swap

What cam? What IAC? I had an very similar issue when I swapped from Explorer cam to Comp on my SN95 EFI. Would hunt for idle and then die in closed loop. I had to install one of these to adjust the amount of air at closed loop/hot idle...

Something wrong with my explorer efi swap

OK...not an expert on Explorer EFI......but it should all function about he same. Nothing should happen with EFI just by hooking up the battery. The only thing HOT should be the keep alive. The fact you say the FP relays activate tells me you have the ignition switch wiring wrong. Further...

Having trouble Clocking a TRW original style power steering pump reservoir on 1976 Bronco

If the reservoir lip is damaged then your S.O.L on getting it to seal with just the O ring. There is no pressure on the reservoir so if it were me, I would use the O ring and RTV to seal it up. Only other option is to find a used reservoir. Saginaw upgrade is not time consuming. I think the...

Axles leaking with new set 20 bearings

The old pic with the seal still in place. It appears to have been leaking before the axle swap? It looks nasty like rust or mud or something mixed with gear oil in the cup. I would check the bearing cups for damage or pitting from rust. Mine were damages due to a bearing failure at some...

    351w Fuel Injection Conversion

I like that rails fuel pressure port location. The van and F150 5.8L has the port on the D side and it's VERY VERY hard to get to (if at all) when using the Explorer upper. I might have to look at upgrading Tim

    351w Fuel Injection Conversion

Valve covers I'm using. D side is Van P side. The P side is either F150 or Explorer D side. Got it from the junk yard. I used it due to the hose nipple on the neck. I use that hose as PCV metered air into the crank case. I pull it from the Explorer hose between Mas and T-body Tim

    351w Fuel Injection Conversion

Swap the valve covers....put the filler P side rear. That will put the Van PCV up front and easier to plumb into the intake. Do NOT use the PCV in the rear of the lighting intake. Plug it. That thing will suck the oil pan dry. Been there done that. I run Explorer MAS, hose and TB. Van...

    What is "panel adhesive"

Automotive panel adhesives are high-strength, two-part (epoxy or urethane) glues used in collision repair and manufacturing to bond various vehicle panels (steel, aluminum, composites) for structural integrity, replacing traditional welds or rivets, offering corrosion protection, and often...

351 install in 71 bronco 3 speed column shift. Clutch issue

I installed a Luk diaphragm kit from rockauto in my 74 and didn't have to change anything. Worked like a charm with my stock 3 speed. Used stock linkage and fork. It also worked with my M5ODR2 upgrade using a hydraulic throw out bearing. Wrong clutch maybe? You mentioned it came with the...
