at the top the wiring is exposed and runs in the indent area . there were 2 maybe 3 push pin type wire retainers that hold it to the frame,

Negative would be toe out,, positive {no + indicator} would be toe in ,, your before {from what you wrote }would be neg. -.36 total toe so toed out,..... Now your toed in .29 total toe I'd probably error on a little less toe in to start , more can give a over sensitive steering when turning...

How bout just re skin the door , not sure how well a butt weld across the door skin would turn out warping ? Or use part of a door skin for a patch panel ,,

the seal is in backwards the bulb end should be up against the hinge. But having the silicone may do a better job of keeping water out?

I’d mark the current location on both side , at the end of the axle tube and inner C use a punch, chisel or even a cut off wheel I do it at the tube opening where the axle slides into , ,, are you doing it or?

don't ignore a possible secondary ignition misfire,,, intermttant , your last 2 sentances above sounds more like ignition .. But do check for air leaks ...

so same result on other cylinders ,, all??new rockers ? head work? reground cam?? was there a machine shop involved in the rebuild or a garage fluff an buff?
