    Evap Condensing Tank Questions

Vapor trapper might be needed. Several threads on here. I just picked up a canister and am trying to figure out the best place to mount it. Fortunately, my garage generally doesn't smell that bad as all, unless the tank is weeping.

    Sliding Windows Update

Definitely on my list when I get to restoring the top.

How many years have you all been involved in the Bronco world?

Oh boy... Prior to owning one I spent several years trash talking them in our little off road group. All in good fun of course as we were all out there just enjoying the trails together and helping each other out anyway. Bought my first one from another poster on here and the infamy began...

Brake Booster Losing Pressure with Engine Running

Update on this issue. @raleigh_bronco I ended up getting a vacuum reservoir from Summit. Between that and having a good mechanic friend do a little tuning of this thing the brakes work very well. It's been a few weeks of good driving and I don't recall exactly what the issue was with the...

    James duff

They messed up and want you to pay for their mistake? Damn, I hate these threads, but sometimes you gotta call a spade a spade. I'm getting closer to my front winch decisions and really liked their hidden setup. Things like this make me put them on the bottom of the list. Hopefully they can...

    Bought not 1 , 2 mustangs

WOW.... 8k for both of them is a great deal in California right now. Drove my moms 66 for a bit. Sold it to a family that did a full restoration on it. Beautiful car, right up until someone T-Boned them and totaled the car. What the story of the Camero or Firebird behind the mustangs????

Jay Leno Law in CA is now signed fully (Smog exemption up to 1985)

OH Man... Touchy subject here. Since we can't talk about the real issue all I have to say is this. We have it great in California. We can surf in the morning, Ski in the afternoon, and star gaze in the desert at night all in the same day if you like.

Front Disc Brake Conversion | Questions After Reading Posts and Watching YouTube

If you plugged both/all holes on the MC and pushed the brake pedal down, you should have had very little to no movement at all. But it sounds like you did have movement and the pedal eventually went all the way to the floor. Sounds to me like a bad MS. I'm still curious where that fluid was...

How to search a tech conversation

This site actually has a feature when you click on "Post Thread" and start typing in the title it will bring up similar threads with the same or close to title. If that doesn't work, the search function on the site will find your specific words like "ratio" in pretty much every post.

Front Disc Brake Conversion | Questions After Reading Posts and Watching YouTube

Sounds like you are on the right path. One thing I learned real quick is there are two different slave cylinders on these older drums. You will know immediately if you go the right or wrong one because they simply will not fit right.

Front Disc Brake Conversion | Questions After Reading Posts and Watching YouTube

Where is all the fluid going if he's able to push the peddle all the way down with little resistance? 🤔

Front Disc Brake Conversion | Questions After Reading Posts and Watching YouTube

Still dealing with my brake saga but I can address a couple points. If you remove the proportioning valve and take out the front metering valve you can actually push the little shuttle thing back into position... If that is your case with it being moved forward. Sounds to me like you have...

CA Pair Corbeau Seats, brackets and rear folding bench seats

Damn... Too bad you are all the way north. If you ever made it down to L.A. I'd be a buyer.

Windshield Washer / Radiator Overflow Combo / Bracket

I had no idea someone made a bracket for this set up. I just went out and cut a piece of angle iron that mounts to the fender then tank. I can see how over time without support on the bottom that becomes an issue. Once again, the knowledge base on this site delivers!

1 more good reason to leave California

The weather is awesome, you can surf in the morning, ski in the afternoon, and star gaze from desert at night. In other news, My 04 6.0 costs about 450 and my 72 VW costs 122...

Quick Review of Duff’s MS2020 Eibach shocks

Have them on mine as well. 3 1/2 lift with extended radius arms up front for a longer travel suspension. I was thinking I was going to need to add a sway bar for drivability. NOPE. These shocks perform very well so far.

    23 gal tank

Just for clarification, when you say Front Side, do you mean Front Top Corner? Not an expert but I know a few of those tanks had breather/vent lines near the fuel outlet. Take some pics if you can.

Anyone Running Duff Tuff Tire Carrier?

Kind of. Nothing fancy about it. Went to my local drive shaft shop and asked for some sturdy tube in whatever diameter that is (Bronco is currently not home), then just welded it to the back plate. Same concept as Ntsqd. I wanted something I could hoist that tire onto before trying to line...

Anyone Running Duff Tuff Tire Carrier?

Yes, very straight forward install as long as your stock rear bumper is pretty straight. Street driven only so far and it is solid. Haven't had a chance to get this into the dirt yet, but the latching system seems very tight with zero rattle going on. Tire on there is a 35 x 12.5. I did add...

Brake Booster Losing Pressure with Engine Running

Short story is Brakes still SUCK! But right out of the gate, after swapping out the Proportioning valve the Shooting Fountain out of the reservoir is gone. I did a reverse bleed on the brakes.... of course with the bleed screw stop thingy installed... @Grey owl ... then did a standard bleed...
