what is the best way to clean the rust deposits out of the main tank. deposits are all over the sending unit as well

changed the brakes about a month ago just now tried 4x4 and nothing up front was spinning. checked hubs and one hub will turn by hand. im talking abouth the chrome piece that has the script free and lock on it(will turn by hand). what could the problem be????

stevel i was told that would fry your regulator? use your volt meter and pu one on the neg post of the battery and the other one on the back of the alternator and see what reading you get? had this problem last month? search here under alternator and you will see all of my questions. andy

after you loosen pan and drain do you remove the dipstick holder before removing pan or do you remove pan with dipstick attached?

curious to the complicity of the conversion? the j-shifter is a real pain as all of you know? i cant seem to keep it in 4 wheel drive. any other ideas? i will clean the screen this week or next but was trying to explore other option if that doesnt work.

i think i have the alternator figured out. there is a green red wire that begins on passanger engine bay from a connector near voltregulator and runs under dash somewhere. i just found this green red wire hooked to nothing? any one know where its home is andy
