    Bronco driver side track assembly.

    Tracks??? My Bronco has tires...

    full spool up front

Since it's derailed once or twice already... Ummmm, Kyle? You know that LockRights have been available for d60s since at least (when I bought my first one) 2002? Just sayin... ;D

    full spool up front

Phasing u-joints is only an issue on driveshafts. in an axle, they're separate shafts that don't care what the other side is doing. It won't limit your steering any, the joint will still go the same angle as before.

How can I be sure that a certian locker will fit my 9"?

Yukon makes a 35 spline spool for the 3.08 bearing. I've never seen a "NASCAR" detroit that wasn't 3.25" bearing.

    Rockcrawlin'>Rockracin'>now Rockjumping

Yup, between Tim Cameron (who wasn't there that weekend) and the Tanner's plus the handful of others, it's a hell of a show! I wanna see video of Shelby Tanner this weekend. I hear her brother JoJo adjusted the throttle pedal so she can reach it better and finally get full throttle! :D

    push button 4x4

Search username Patooyee on pirate, he set up his 205 with air shifters. Works pretty slick from what I've seen... otherwise cables are easy and simple. Don't need to buy a kit, just get a couple push-pull cables from McMaster Carr or similar and build your own levers and brackets.

    running in 4wd on road??

Kyle, I've driven WAY too many XJ/YJ/TJ/JKs with locked fronts that were TRANSPARENT on the road to believe that. You may have had something else going on, but if the locker isn't seeing torque, it isn't locking. If it isn't locking, you won't even know it's there. A spool you will notice...

Just wanted to show off my cage!

Only thing I would change... (sorry, I've built a few cages in my day) That open space between the B pillar roof line and the c pillar floor is a beg weak spot. Just adding one tube per side between those two points would add TONS of strength. Otherwise it looks like a nicely built cage.

    running in 4wd on road??

The only advantage would be that you could easily and quickly engage 4wd. Disadvantages include: increased fuel consumption (its a brick with wheels, you're not gonna sip fuel to begin with) increased wear on front axle, driveshaft and t-case, and who knows what else... That being said, many...

    full spool up front

I'd definitely go along with what Malonejy said. It WILL handle/drive differently than open/open. If you can afford it, selectable f/r is the way to go, but that's a couple thousand just in diffs, still need gears, bearings, axles, etc... I ran ARB f/r on a couple rigs and found I left the...

    Measurements Needed, Frame Height

Since it already got bumped up... when designing suspension it's a hellovalot easier to build it at full "bump" with the axle as high up against the frame as possible so you know it all clears.

Anybody made a replacement tailgate out of tubing?

wouldn't be too difficult to set up for the stock latches and mounts... Just a tube perimeter with sheet metal filler? Or all tube and open???
  13. R

    full spool up front

Front spool won't make your rig "plow" a turn, but a REAR spool will. Think about it, your tires are turned and they are spinning, they're not gonna pull the rig straight, they're gonna pull the way they're pointed. The problem is when the rear locker is engaged (whether a spool, selectable...

What have you done to your Bronco today?

just picked up (well, had delivered) my first EB!!!! '68, 5.0 Mustang motor with truck intake (???) C4/d20/d44 w/ARB and 5.13s/9" spooled 5.13s. UGLY rusty/beat up. 35" TSL/SXs. Will need some love and a new cage along with who knows how much else... build thread will come eventually...
