i wish i had access to that slideshow before i started putting it together. i put the front and back together separately, then placed them on the frame and worked out. it took nine months of putting on and taking off stuff. and making a bunch of mistakes on the way.

i never kept track of the hours. i bought almost two years ago. ive been working on it for at least 8 months. i just need a soft top and doors so i can drive it in the winter. i plan on converting the drums to 4 disc brakes when i get my tax return.

and i scored these to keep it original.

I'm wondering since the 66 didn't have power steering. If you converted to power steering, would you need to replace the lower steering shaft or column too?

frame is all painted up. going to start hoisting the new body this weekend.

i just got my new steering column and lower shaft. im wondering if this part on my steering box is a legit part or home made rig job from the previous owner to make it fit on a new part. it looks like a piece of leather and bolts to make it fit to a power steering box.

i might be. im slowly learning as i go.

my buddy does fabrication for commercial properties and high end housing. railing,spiral staircases, artistic metal design stuff. i have plenty of time to work on the bronco too. im a single dude with no kids.
