I do have soft top and soft doors. my exhaust dumps straight down about mid bronco.no fuel leak out of tank either.

Just got back form my 72's first trip, did great other then when we got up there,( about 80 miles to a cabin at the lake), everything that was in the back smelt really bad like fuel. I know that there are two hoses coming off the tank, one is evap and one is vent.....correct me if i am wrong...

give him $450 for the entire thing. Bronco or not you can part out a frame and body for $500 easy if you try. That way you have your winch and with a little bit of leg work it was free. If you dont have the time/desire to part out a rig then 350-400 is a great price for a working PTO. good luck.

going from the wiring diagrams that i have the black red under dash are voltmeter. is that the one you are reffering to or under hood? it is my understanding,(which isnt much of electical), that the wire that i just fixed/re-placed runs straight off the ignition switch to the voltage regulator...

brand new starter solenoid. that is why i was thinking it was ignition switch. Just trying to figure out if i leave the same ignition switch in and just put in a battery dissconnect switch if that could solve this. A battery diss. connect would cut off power from the battery when in the off...

so finally tracked down what i thought was my main issue - not charging and only running off the battery. It was the wire from the "S" terminal on the voltage regulator back into the harness was bad. Followed wire back and repalced with new wire, bronco is now charging when running. Good day. Go...

If you do get top dollar, then look for a less expensive, but still nice driver bronco Agree with that totally. That way you can take some cash and take care of some things that you need to but still have a Bronco to drive and when things get better,(because they will, just who really knows...

got used kayline soft doors with all the hardware with the exception of the top hinge bracket. I just either need those brackets or at least need pics of what they are so i can fab some up. If any one has pics that would be great, one of the last things that i need to get on, still pretty cold...
