OK to remove caliper w/ brake lines on?

I currently have a Cheby disc brake conversion on my 74' that I installed. However, after a while I realized my Bronco was slightly pulling to the left. Upon looking over the system I realized that I had lost my clearance between my right caliper and knuckle. I really don't feel like...

Thanks Justin, How do you get access to the clip? Do you use a flat head screw driver and face the front of the arm or the rear of the arm. How do u gain leverage to slide the tab forward? Ed

    Wiper Arm Removal Question?

I know this has already been discussed. However, I cannot seem to remove the arms for the life of me. I understand that there is a small clip that holds the arms in place, but I cannot access it with my screw driver to pry it off. Is there an easy way to do this? I cannot see the clip nor...

    engine cleaner/oil leak

I have the exact same annoying problem with my engine. I also think it is my rear main seal. Can anyone elaborate on how to replace the seal without removing the engine? Thanks

    steering box

Sorry for the delayed response. Fordguy is correct in stating that the rebuild is $115 and the quick ratio upgrade is $150. However, I just checked the WTO website and it now shows that a rebuild is $140. They must have just increased their rebuild price b/c I had my box rebuilt during the...

I recently installed my WTO rebuilt box with quick steer ratio and they did a terrific job! You will notice an immediate difference in steering on your rig.

    3 0n tree rebuild?

I don't remember the exact website where I purchased the CD shop manual. However, if you perform a google search with "Detroit Iron Ford Truck Factory Shop Manual" you will find links to companies that sell the CD. They have them specific for each year Ford Truck. Let me know if you need any...

Stock PS cooler - Keep Yes or No?

JWMcCrary, iwlbcnu, and Gummi Bear for all of your help. JWMcCrary, may you please send a downward view picture of your pump, cooler, and steering box so I can see the orientation of your lines. Also, did you reuse your stock hoses? If so, did you clean them out along with the cooler before...

    3 0n tree rebuild?

I recently attempted to rebuild mine and it ended up being severely messed up! Make sure to either take pictures or rebuild it fairly soon after you take it apart. Ask me how I know. I disassembled the column, then ran out of time and had to return home from an offsite location where my...

Stock PS cooler - Keep Yes or No?

Thanks for the good advice. I am still contemplating whether or not I should keep the cooler or not. Though, I am leaning more towards keeping it and bending the lines to fit.

Stock PS cooler - Keep Yes or No?

I recently finished installing my WH saginaw pump and bracket. Though, when I routed my lines to the stock PS cooler I found that the lines run directly over my reservoir cap, thereby not allowing me to easily access the cap. Should I re-bend the lines and keep the stock cooler or should I...

    header hell!!!

I had a similar problem with my hooker headers when I installed them on my first bronco years ago. My shift linkages would run right into the headers on the drivers side. Eventually, I had to heat it up and dimple it for it to fit properly.

HELP! cannot remove ps bracket through bolt!

Hey guys, Well, I finally removed the stubborn PS bracket from my head. TJK74, you were correct! The thread diameter was in fact larger than the hole in the bracket. Fortunately, I was able to back the bracket out a little which allowed me to unscrew the bolt from the head. My new WH ps...
