    That is a 73 and up air cleaner, so it should clear just fine... His 71 core support does not have the hole for the plastic snorkel if he was going back to true stock...

    What is the minimum amount of lift you need to have for the long arms? It seems that the arms would bottom out on the frame before the coils would bind if you were using stock springs, but maybe not...?

    The Marti Report just lists what options the rig came with from the factory. It does not, will not, and cannot list year to year changes, part number revisions, etc. because Ford was horrible about documenting these things. If you dig through the parts books you will find some references to VIN...

    Gasgacinch works good as a thin adhesive for the gasket to valve cover. That is the preferred product for the cork gaskets on aircooled VW's.
