Officially one of you build - Code name Bronconius the Gentleman

Great build, you have done a ton of work and it looks top notch. What was the story on the blue Bronco sitting next to it when you bought it? Was that the $500 one you referenced? Were these Alabama Broncos? Keep up the great work and you will be on the road soon.

Looking for a Reputable Shop, prefferably Central Alabama

A friend is having his Mustang built at Performance Car Craft in Saginaw near Calera. I am told the work is great and rates are very reasonable. Haven't seen the car yet since its still being finished. Friend says the work is top notch! Scott is the owner, 205-216-3195.

How did you come to own your Bronco

Back in 2009 I was preparing to retire from the Air Force and my wife had been commenting about wanting a Heep every time she saw one for sale. While at work one day I sent her a link to a local classifieds for a 75 Bronco and told her these are much cooler and a Ford! (I'm a Ford guy). When we...

Looking for a Reputable Shop, prefferably Central Alabama

Impatient Creations in Alabaster. Linky Told they do good work and I have personally seen one Bronco they have done and it looked well done. Never had any work done by them so I can't vouch 100% so you will have to talk to them and decide for yourself. If I can think of others I will post a...

Looking for a Reputable Shop, prefferably Central Alabama

Welcome to CB. Nice project you have there. Unfortunately there aren't any real restoration shops around Montgomery that I know of, but there are a few in Birmingham and Alabaster to the north. I will see if I can find the names of the shops but I can't vouch for the quality/workmanship, just...

Talking to a guy about his bronco

    Need a new motor 351W

The 302 in one of my Broncos is worn out, smokes and starting to leak around one of the freeze plugs. So my plan is to go ahead and replace it with a 351W. I would like to go with a late model roller and just do mild build slightly above stock. Still undecided whether to go carb (I have a 4100...

Its a small world, I'm tellin' ya!

Sometimes they just need a purpose

Went back out with the other Bronco and enjoyed our new acquisition. Calm day and spring in bloom just made postcard (for us at least).

Sometimes they just need a purpose

Not sure what all is in the green field other than clover, onions, but there are many different things planted, the guy I bought the place from had planted it last fall. It did well, they shot 6 deer off of the property last year. Only one was a doe.

Sometimes they just need a purpose

Recently bought some property and put the Bronco to work. Had to go out and feed the fish in the ponds. Hopefully the warmer weather will have to bass biting soon.

AL 69 Bronco on CL (Not Mine)

Saw this on Craigslist in Birmingham. Could be a good cheap project for someone, I have too many projects or I would have given it a shot. https://bham.craigslist.org/cto/5445581342.html

How many projects are you working on?

So is this like an AA meeting? Two 75 Broncos, trying to keep them up and running, brown one needs floors 65 Mustang Fastback, complete rotisserie resto 66 F100 - Just picked it up a couple of months ago. Freshening up 79 Datsun 280ZX, full resto to give back to my daughter (her first car)...

    Love this site!

Steve, you are very welcome, glad to help. I was able to move some parts that I wasn't going to use and even convince the wife I was really getting rid of some stuff! Bonus.

    Three on the tree

What year? They changed style a bit in 73 I think (need confirmation). I have a set of early ones you can have for the cost of shipping if you want.

    Moultrie swap meet anyone?

I will be there, what space/area are you going to be setup in? Hardly ever see early bronco stuff at Moultrie.

AL 66 U13(?) project (not mine)

Says its a U13 but looks like a big project. May be worth a look if its a real roadster. http://bham.craigslist.org/cto/5277149593.html

Question? Are you a Ford guy?

Well, yes, kind of a Ford guy

Apparently headed to Cruisen the Coast.

Didn't see the roadster but pretty sure I saw the half-cab in Ocean Springs on Saturday. Lots of Broncos at Cruisin the Coast.
