Beautiful truck! I'm envious how nice your steering wheel looks. Is the upholstery original? I have an '01 (owned since '02) and I've replaced the driver's seat bottom twice and the seat back once.
Mine is very similar, except it has a 6 speed manual with just a few less miles.

Yes, I saw the same when I visited there back in 2010.

That's good to know! I knew they used to be but didn't know if they still were or not.

As bummed as you might be, you're certainly doing the right thing! We've gotta take care of our 4 legged friends. Certainly love seeing your incredible photos from your trip!

A plain rotor will be better than a drilled/slotted rotor for your application because it will have more mass/metal and therefore a slight increase in thermal capacity - good for those Colorado mountains and passes!

I had one like that back in 2010 - it was a Stroppe-built racing Bronco so not a trace of a VIN on the frame. Here in AZ, we got a branded title and an AZ-assigned VIN for it.

I think the cost delta is due to USA-made vs. overseas-made.
I think that's the difference. Duff uses USA-made Deavers and most of the rest are made overseas.

Whew! So my custom ones on the bottom of my windshield don't fall into that category :)
I know "mrblaine" reasonably well - have read zillions of his posts on the Jeep forums and he designed and built the brake brackets for my front disc brake conversion. I've read from other smart folks...
Thanks - any inputs on the honorable mentions I noted: front axle seals and anti-theft devices? I'm close to having some diff work done on my front end and I also included some axle tube seals so I'm curious on your thoughts on those.
Thanks,

Somebody's retired with a lot of time on their hands! As usual, with James' posts, I'm intrigued and chuckling to myself at the same time. If you don't mind, can you please elaborate on the ones I've listed above?
Thanks,

Some of those conversions also used a Daytona brand shifter, which was similar to the Hurst but always looked a little "cheaper" to me.
Here's an Ebay auction for one...
I regret that I flared the front fenders on my rig and that I had my friend install them so high. At the time I thought I needed them for tire clearance under extreme articulation. In retrospect, I should've left them alone and maybe done the 'Stroppe roll' on the front leading edges for tire...
