Yep, double checked hose routing. How can I check if the bypass valve is open? I’ve seen that as a possible issue in other threads.

Brand new h-boost kit from WH. It was there MOAB Hydroboost setup. Explorer pump was a rebuilt that I installed with my explorer serp setup. It worked fine before I installed the hydroboost.

Looks like it’s moving.. hard to tell for sure. The motor‘s running and the fluid is not exactly still.

Not sure… what’s the best way to check? Feel the lines?

I will add… the brakes don’t feel right either. Like no pressure. I only backed it out of the garage and back in, but they weren’t grabbing well.

Yeah, I thought I’ve read that the explore pump should work.. it’s just not the recommended pump. I feel like I’ve triple checked the plumbing and it’s full of fluid. I’ve cycled the wheels while engine off and on (it was on jack stands both times). No air bubbles come up.

Finally was able to get it running and ready to test all the new parts on my rebuild. First thing discovered… no power steering. I believe I bled everything correctly. I’ve got a 351w with explorer front setup. I feel like it‘s got to be a pump issue. Here’s some pics in case anything...

That’s interesting. I haven’t seen writing on any wires, but (for the most part) the colors match the painless instructions and it’s the same fuse block and setup shown in the instructions. The ignition sw instructions, however, are a little different…

Yeah, it’s weird for sure. This electrical stuff confuses me, but I can figure out enough to get by. There was a black green wire on the center stud under this one. I traced the fried one all the way back, it’s not spliced or tied into a fuse panel even though it looks like it should be...

Here’s a pic of my ignition sw for reference. The black red was on that center post under the rubber boot. Other wires on there, yellow, red/blue, green/red, green/black, and green spliced into a red.
