    S terminal power

I haven't started it yet. It's a brand new wiring harness and it had a wire with the word "starter solenoid power" I hooked to the explorer starter solenoid. So I just needed to know if tied his "S terminal" to it.

    S terminal power

I installed a AAW harness and my EFIGUY harness has a wire marked "S terminal". I no longer have a S terminal or fender starter solenoid. Is the S terminal hot when key is On, or hot with key on and during key Start?

Just finished installing the Edelbrock Pro-Flo 4 EFI system

I think I have more than that in my 351 explorer efi if I include my $400 cam sensor I had to buy, EFIGUYs charge, stock Explorer components, injector rebuild and the 351 lightning lower. But the 351 made mine about $1000 more than if I woulda stuck with a 5.0.

Any 351W rebuilder gurus help a newb

Buy you some aluminum heads and throw them on if your bored and want a 50-100hp gain while your tinkering.

AC Compressor on passenger side ?

Bronco/ford engines are pushed over closer to the passenger fender, so maybe it was due to there being more room between the engine and drivers inner fender.

    4r70w shift arm park location

Is the shift arm pointed forward towards the bellhousing park? Or is when the arm all the way back towards the rear axle park?

Were 96-98 explorer cam sensor 3 wire and 99-01 2 wire?

Well I just got off the phone with Price. They said I can send them my current complete cam sensor unit and they will modify the top to accept and the 2 wire will mount up. They are great people to do business with.

Were 96-98 explorer cam sensor 3 wire and 99-01 2 wire?

I didn't think so, I so hope Price has a simple option, I really dont want to pull this engine out

Were 96-98 explorer cam sensor 3 wire and 99-01 2 wire?

Can I pull the oil pump shaft from the distributor hole to switch to the longer melling one?

Were 96-98 explorer cam sensor 3 wire and 99-01 2 wire?

I have the adapter for the ford V6 one I got from EFIGUY. But decided to splurge on the Price one while I waited for the harness.

Were 96-98 explorer cam sensor 3 wire and 99-01 2 wire?

Yes, I already have this $400 Price cam sensor and a efiguy harness and computer.

Just finished installing the Edelbrock Pro-Flo 4 EFI system

This system is better cause you get an intake and 8 injectors and they run better. Verse the cheaper " electric carburetor" systems where the efi throttle body bolts to a carburetor intake.

Just finished installing the Edelbrock Pro-Flo 4 EFI system

I regret going explorer efi on my 351. I spent a small fortune between the lightning lower cost, custom balancer, price motorsports distributor, injector rebuild, explorer donor engine cost, and so on. I think the pro flow would of been cheaper and cost less and everything would of been brand...

Were 96-98 explorer cam sensor 3 wire and 99-01 2 wire?

This is terrible news, I will call Price in morning and see what to do.
  17. rjrobin2002

Were 96-98 explorer cam sensor 3 wire and 99-01 2 wire?

I had a harness done by efi guy and while it was gone ordered a cam sensor from Price motorsports. The Price sensor is 3 wire and looks like my 99 harness is 2 wire. What's the work around here? I'm wondering if a 99 explorer sensor will screw directly to the one I have.

Find someone to install a 2000 model 5.0 explorer motor and 4r70w efi in your rig. Super easy and basically a bolt in. I've done about 5. You can buy a running and driving 5.0, 4x4, explorer 96-2000 for a few grand, let EFIGUY do a $700 harness work. Buy a $ 400 ZF transfer case adapter and be...
