Amp rating of fuel guage switch

I'm back working on the 70, finally. So I'm keeping my dual tanks, because I think they are cool. Using cheap transfer pump to run fuel from side tank to rear, when rear gets low. I see the fuel level switch has multiple contacts. Would like the transfer pump to run, when I switch over to...

    Fuel Pump Switch Bezel

Got a used switch and new bezel a while back. Appears as if there is no flat on ID to keep switch from rotating around in a circle. Seems they are all that way, from looking at different venders pics...

    Never Rot Flooring

So the guy I got my 70 from welded 1/4 plate in for new floors. Always figured that was fine, and of course they would never rot out again. Then I recently decided to do a 1" WH bodylift. Tried a holesaw, but that seemed like it was going to take forever. Ended up drilling small holes all...

Replacement plastic rear tank and EFI return line

I have a "newer" (8 years old maybe) rear stock capacity plastic tank. There is a boss that sticks out forward of the fill vent line. It appears you could drill and tap this, possibly for an EFI return line. Any reason this would not work?

Holley Sniper and Duraspark Distr (to control timing)

Just picked up an 85 Duraspark distr as I'm FINALLY dropping in a "new" motor (89 5.0 HO) in my 70. Was going to just go carb, but seriously considering holley sniper. It appears you could use the duraspark if you can disable vac and mech advances. Also looks like on chebbies, they use some...

    Cheapest Top Performing Trail Rig

Started this thread instead of continuing to jack my own thread here. http://classicbroncos.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2943358#post2943358 No doubt. I was talking in context of driveline breakage. Mogs and 43' stickies, you have to search out the hardest lines on purpose, or even red...

Best non RCV 44 axle set?

Eventually planning on occasionally running a set of 36 SX's on my 70 for light local sand trails and light mudding. Will be no rock crawling. For reference, I have a front LR, stock gears, T-18 trans. Engine will be carbed 5.0 HO with gt40 heads (not P's) and some 4 bbl intake (stock...

NJ 15 X 6 White Modular Wheels (four)

Set of 4, 15x6, 5 on 5.5, modular wheels. Black stuff in crevice around edge of wheel center is RTV. I always put that in when I get new steel wheels, keeps the rust from starting in that spot. Easy enough to remove if desired. They are US Wheel, PN 90-5655. If you want to figure...

Anyone ever blast either of these and any precautions for seals. Obviously I would leave brake line on caliper and somehow seal it really well.

bendability of one piece door insert

Previous owner put in new striker/door posts, but I don' think they are perfect, as I had to lightly bend the old style door inserts to install them. If I get the one piece insert, do they bend enough to fit in a less than perfect door opening? Talking less than an 1/8th and on the upper...

Clutch and oil pan for 5.0HO

Searched through a bunch of threads, but didn't find my answers. If there are threads that beat these to death, shoot em my way. With that said, Will a late 80's 5.0 truck clutch work with the 164 tooth 50 oz flywheel? From what I've read, stock 70 oil pan does not work well with 5.0 HO...
