    Steering column bearings

I tightened up everything I could in the column. The bearings seem ok. I made sure the nuts under the steering wheel were tight as well. There is still a little up and down give but it is not as bad. On the downside, now my turn signals no longer work. I looked at the turn signal switch and...

    Developing a Bronco club.

I was looking at the listed bronco clubs and noticed there is nothing in my area of the country. I need a club that would cover the section from say St. Louis to Indianapolis to Louisville to Nashville. Is there any such club out there? How would someone go about setting up such a club...

    Steering column bearings

I need help. I think one of my bearings in my 1969 steering column went out. The steering wheel now has a lot of slop and will move around. The column itself is tight but the inner shaft moves. Under the hood I can pull the inner shaft back and forth. I cannot find anything on how to...

    Gremlin in wiring

Centech I finally got in touch with Centech and I am glad I did. Jim is a genius and a nice guy. He was very patient and walked me through troubleshooting step by step. He figured it out. My problem was a faulty hazard switch. I unplugged that and now everything works as it should! What a...

    Gremlin in wiring

I tried to contact them but they don't answer the phone. I also Sent a message on their form but they didn't reply. The tech guy at Dakota was an ***hole and didn't want to be bothered with my trivial problem. The biggest help was from a tech guy from Tom's.

    Gremlin in wiring

I have installed a 1966-1977 Ford Bronco Centech Wiring Kit from Jeff's. I have a 1969 Bronco. Mostly everything has gone well. I also installed a Dakota Digital dash. I have a gremlin that the tech guys at Dakota and Jeff's can't figure out. When I turn on the Hazard switch, the rears work...

    Mounting Hi-lift jack

Thanks everyone for the replies. I am only carrying it for emergencies and flats. I wouldn't ever use it for maintenance. I also have a farm and it will be handy to have there as well. I think I am going to drill the roll bar and bolt it there atop the wheel well. I'll post pics when I get...

    Mounting Hi-lift jack

What is the best way to mount a 48" Hi-lift jack in the bed of a 69 Bronco. I was thinking about fabing a mounting system to go on the lip of the bed. Any ideas and instructions?

    What tools

I have a small under the hood tool box in place of a side vent. We are getting ready to drive to the Super Celebration and I wanted to stock the box with the best option of roadside equipment. I am going to put in tire plug kit, Flat head, phillips, crescent wrench, wire cutters, silicone. I...

    Heater core

I have a 69. Nothing has been done to the heating system. I am going to reseal the box and replace the vent hoses. I am also going to upgrade the motor and cage. Do I need to replace the core or just flush it? There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it (not leaking or anything). I...
