How many quarts should my 1987 302 take? I believe it has a truck oil pan on it, but not sure. It is the gt intake, so im assuming it is the gt motor.

I'm in RI, right next door to Conn, and am finding the same problem. I currently have a heep roll bar on there now, that the PO installed, and want to go to a full cage, tied into the frame. Where can i get one on the east coast?

I could just make another mount, the only problem is the exhause itself is right in line to where my cable has to go, it will be burning the cable. Maybe the exhause is suppose to be underneath the cable? My duals are tucked up pretty high.

I tried installing my new e-brake and cable. I got from the front pedal all the way back to the adjuster. Now i can't run my cables from my rear brakes up, because my dual exhaise is in the way. PO used the mounting bracket for the e-brake to mount the driverside exhause. What do i do now...

what is the best tool for taking off the bolts? looks like i will need a pretty long socket to get down to the bolts on the u-bolts

I think i have some gunk built up inside my tranny. sticking between gears. It is aq c4. Is there any way of flushing the fluid? If so how? Just wanted to try it before i have to rebuild it.

I'm thinking of just cutting the old u-bolts off, since i have new ones. any problems with this"? if anyone else can think of any problems or sollutions i might have feel free. the more information for me the better.

I just purchased a set of rear leaf(11leafpack) springs. I need to install them. Can someone give me tips or suggestions? Instructions actually. I have all new u-bolts and bushings.

Debating if i should switch my c4 to a AOD. What year AOD should i be looking at? Are some better than others? What am i looking at for prices?

Should i take the tranny and motor out as one? Will the radiator have to come out?

I need to pull my current motor( 7 302 fuel injected) so i can have it rebuilt. I have never pulled a motor before and need some help. I was told to make sure i lable everything. An other tips or advice? Any write ups on this?

Is your shifter hitting the floor, not allowing it to engage all the way. I had the same problem. Cut my floor back a little seemed to help. I eventually went to a twin stick. Now it is no longer an issue.

ok, I will try taking out the other spring tomorrow, seeif that gets me a little more play to install the new springs. Also...Im thinking with the extra 1" or 2" i might need a drop pitman arm or something? Bump steer was fine before, but not sure how it will be affected with these new coils...

The other coils still attatched might be limiting my extra drop i need. When re-installing, do i start the bottom cups in, then screw the coils in? Is there a certain order things must go back together ?I hope i didn't open up a can of worms doing this myself...

actually i un loosened them all the way, took them out with the spring. They are pretty rusty , so im going to clean them before i re-install. I just need a few more inches of drop to slide the new springs in. I thought they were the same size...but they seem an 1" or 2" taller. I ordered...
