    Carb problem

My Bronco has been sitting for about 9 months without being started. It used to run fine, and start on the first bump with a new edelbrock carb. When I try to start it (push on the gas) gas pours out of the top of the carb and runs down onto the intake. It will start if you hold the pedal to...

Buying new carb this week....any suggestions???? Edelbrock or Holley...????

What situations are you going to run on your Bronco? I was looking for Q-jet application, but it was going to cost me about $200 in the end. I just ordered an Edelbrock 500 cfm for mine from Jeg's for $225, but I probably won't be doing a whole lot of heavy off-roading.

    Backfire problems

Bought running Bronco last week with an oil leak. Bronco ran fine. I pulled the 2 bbl carb and intake to install new gaskets, and didn't remove the dizzy. Cleaned intake and put everything back together. Went to crank the engine and it starts but it backfires through the carb at low RPM's...
