Trying to fix my 4wd, and would like some guesses on the problems before I go tearing it apart and ordering parts. I feel if I am more certain on the problem and expenses it will be for the parts, I am more confident in tearing it apart. My Brother was the previous owner and this happened...

    Mounting Speakers

Well finally got around to getting a cdplayer for the Bronco! The cdplayer will sit in the Tuffy center console. Now, I am wondering where and how to mount the speakers? As of right now, I only have a pair of 4.5" speakers from my old Ranger. I believe they are from Kenwood. Wouldn't be...

    No Transmission Kickdown

I am in the process of fixing up a 71' Sport. It has a 351W, C4 Tranny with floor shifter, and an Edlebrock 4bbl performer The tranny doesn't have the kickdown hooked up, and I don't have a clue how to do it. There is a vaccum modulator valve on the side of the C4 that isn't hooked up...

    351W Offenhauser Manifold

I have this intake on my 351W mated to a 4bbl Edlebrock carb. I am going to do a rebuild here soon. Is this a good intake manifold? I remember when I had my old 2.9L ranger, the offenhauser manifolds were really rare, and I think only used overseas on the V6 cars. I believe I read that...

    I'm puzzled...

I have the mixture scews at 1.5 turns out I got new plug wires tonight but they gave me the wrong ones... Tried to start it up and see if anything magically changed, and now it seems like it isn't getting hardy any fuel through the filter, not enough to turn over. Plenty of fuel in the tank...

    I'm puzzled...

Trying to get my 351W running correctly this weekend. It needed a new carb, so I put on an Edlebrock 4bbl to start. Fires right up! I drove it about 1/2 mile test and all seemed to be ok... Then I swapped out the spark plugs this afternoon. The wires look new so I didn't mess with them...

    Rear Driveshaft Yoke Nut Size?

This weekend I have to swap out the yoke that connects the rear driveshaft into the transfer case. This is on my 71' Bronco, so I assume it is the Spicer style. My question is, in the transfer case, what is the size of the bolt that holds the yoke in there? Thanks!

    Anyone Sell Pre-Cut Rear Quarters?

The rear quarters on the bronco are already cut for flares. The other problem is an area about 2" wide by 7" tall of where it meets the door, that is starting to rust through also. I could try a patch and see how it goes. what do I have to lose? although the thought of new metal does sound good
