I just built a tube framed Bronco for a guy and pulled his 5.0 and harness out of his old bronco to put in it. He took it down to Baja and it would run for about 15 minutes then die, he would tow it back to his place let it sit awhile and it would start up and run good for another 15 minutes...

I put in about 10 Centech harnesses and clocked the time carefully. To do it right with every contection soldered, relays in the right places, adding acc. fuse blocks one swithched and one always hot the fastest I could do one was 20 hours.

I replaced a few front post and I used to charge 10 hours not including paint each. In reality I never got one swapped out in less than 2 days, so I would expect to pay a body shop at least $600 just for the fromt post.

In that oil pan pic you can see a dent in the sump from the front diff hitting it. That is what happened to my first 250 and bent the oil pick up enough to suck air going down the freeway and threw a rod leading to an emergency engine swap one weekend.

I used a flywheel and clutch from a 300 six. As for hood clearance I added a 1" body lift so that I could run the stock air filter as I had to pass smog but I think I may have been able to get buy with a low profile air cleaner.

When I put a 250 in mine I cut the bottom of the 200 pan and welded it to the top half of the 250 pan. I took a piece of 1" plywood and bolted the the 250 pan to it to keep the rails in place and stop warping then cut them in half and brazed them together. To get the pick up right I tacked...
