While preping my rig for Moab bronco safari I noticed my drivers side axle shaft had some slack in it. So I pulled it and replaced the u joint, wich had to broken caps. After I got it together I noticed the caps rotating in the housing. I know thats not normal, I'm wondering if thats why I...

    NAPA Saginaw ps pump?

I have a cooler, on it and I have gone through the long and painfull bleeding prosses, so I don't think it has air in the system. I put the front end up on jacks, turn the wheels to the stops, and shut it off for 5min, then repeat with the cap off the pump, five or six times. No bubles and no...

    NAPA Saginaw ps pump?

I have installed a NAPA saginaw ps pump in my 76. I run 35" MTR's 4.88's and a detroit, on both ends. The pump is a lot better than the oringinal Ford pump, but still starts to whine, and gets real hard to steer after a little while. I'm going to install a twin stick setup, and I know that...

    dana 44

I've got a high pinion D44 with the factory disk brakes still on it, out of a 79 bronco. I have had it for sale for 250$, for almost six months, and cant get rid of it. I know it a full width, but still not a bad deal for a better axle.

    What size radius arm extensions?

I went with 12 inches, they should come out something like Bronchole's. I'll put the pics in my gallery. Thanks for all the info.

    What size radius arm extensions?

I am thinking of extending my radius arms, I have read 10 to 12 inches is the standard. I have a 4.5 inch lift and run 35's. I want to use the factory bushings, so I'm thinking 12 inches will be better, less movement at the bushings. Any Ideas?

    rear spring flex

This is the first time on a ramp, becouse I could realy care less. Its primer gray and the only thing shiny on it are the bil. 5100 shocks. The only time It's been a problem is in moab. I'm locked front and rear, so I keep moving, it's just a little spooky, but hey thats half the fun right.

    rear spring flex

I have WH 3.5" ll packs, and they flex ok, but seem to binde when twisted, like on a RTI ramp. I still have lots of down travel, my shakles haven't even unfolded. I have newer rubber bushings, and plenty of shock travel, extended e-brake cable, and extended brake lines.

full size D44 high pinion swap?

Thanks for the reply's. Does anyone know if a high pinion D44 is stronger than the low pinion. I know thats the case with the D60.

full size D44 high pinion swap?

Has anyone swaped in a D44 high pinion, from a full size bronco. Is it worth the trouble, or should I hold out for a D60 high pinion. I have a 76 D44 with chromo axles 4.88's and a detroit. But my drive line will binde at full droop.
