They are now 15 months and I simply do not have time with other projects I have going on to complete this amazing restoration. I also need room for a couple of other restorations I...

    Look what I got today......

How does it run? Enough power? I am at high altitude, so I am going to lose about 20%. Are you happy with the engine? It does only have 250 ponies, BUT it also has 350 Ft pounds of torque, which is pretty damn good. BTW, might replace the cam to a roller. The block it roller compatible...

    Look what I got today......

Ford Racing Crate, got it from Jegs, around 3,000.00 delivered. For the money, I think it is about the best deal out there. Plus, I have dealt with Ford Racing before and know they are solid and make a quality product. Engine came complete except for carb. I really like the valve covers and...

    Look what I got today......

I have good and bad days on the project. I am pretty discouraged right now, been tough with the body in the shape it is in. I will say that getting the engine delivered and mounted on the stand helped my attitude. When I am ready to pour gas on the body and light it up because I feel it is...

    Look what I got today......

Got my 351W today. The bronco is coming along. Currently I am dealing with the body. Here is what needs to be replace- 1. Everything. Not kidding. Pretty much the whole body from the bed forward to the grille. Even the bed will have to be replaced. Not only that, all floor channels and...

    What carb do you recommend??

I think you need to look at the pro's and con's of each. I think Holley's, in the hands of a good tuner, is probably a superior carb to the Edelbrock in quality. On the other hand, Edelbrocks are much easier to work on for the beginner or novice and have a more user freindly design. Take...

    Shifter fork shaft

I am currently rebuilding my orginal 3 spd (RAT) and have hit a wall. The lower shifter fork shaft will not come out. It will move about 2 inches in ech direction and then just refuses to move. Taken a punch to both sides and still can't budge it. Any insight into what is hanging up? The...

I did notice that it is welded and the rest are riveted. So, this is normal?

    I am in hell!

Thanks for the support. I was going to throw in the towel until I read how many of you brought your own Bronco's back from the same condition mine is in. Although I believe everyone enjoys the smell of mouse piss on a nice winter morning, that is one smell I can probably do without! I did get...
