I've been considering 33s /v/ 35s also. I don't mean to hijack but hopefully this will positively contribute to the conversation. Does anyone know/think there's a significant gas mileage difference between 33s and 35s as long as both are properly geared?

Thanks for the reply. FYI there's a particular bronco I may be purchasing; I'm trying to determine what needs to be done and if I can afford it after the changes. The truck is almost entirely stock and has never been rebuilt, but is running fairly well.

It's possible I may be getting a new EB, and maybe one that'll need an engine rebuild so I've been researching that quite a bit, but I've really only learned enough to have a lot of questions haha. It'll be a 302, and so far I'm pretty sure I want hypereutectic pistons, moly rings, motorcraft...

Just out of curiosity, aren't 4.56s a little low for street/highway driving? If I do this in the future and want to use it as a daily/frequent driver around town, would 4.56s still be best? (I'm not familiar with how the overdrive affects the gearing so I'm sure you're right, just clarifying).

Well after doing some more research and looking at my budget I think I'm just gonna go with a C4 conversion for now and hold of on the 4r70w until I can afford it along with new gears (right after I can afford to upgrade to efi %) ;D ). Thanks for everyone's input though.

are you selling everything needed to install it or does the buyer need to purchase other parts for the install? what other parts are needed if so?

I know. The replacement kit comes with dana 44 rings and pinions. But the replacement kit is a stock 3.50 gear ratio. What I'm asking is if you could use the parts from the replacement kits along with the dana 30 4.10 gears that are on there now to make it a dana 44 with 4.10 gear ratio.

Will a 1972 hardtop fit a 1967 bronco? I've been told all the 69-77 fit each other and the 66-68 fit differently, and I've also been told all 66-77 are interchangeable. Wondering which is true. Thanks
