O2 Bung Placement - Stock Exhaust Manifolds

I need to know where to weld the O2 sensor bungs. I am running the stock Bronco exhaust manifolds with BC Broncos 2 into 1 kit. How far after the manifold collector do I weld each one in? What orientation (top vertical, bottom vertical, side)? Also, remember the exhaust manifold collectors...

    Electric Fan

I just went through this a week ago. I am running the stock radiator and an 1989 mustang 5.0 serpentine setup. I also only have 2.625" of clearance. After a lot of searching with cost in mind I found what I needed. For $125 through Jeg's I ordered the Derale 259-18214 14" puller electric fan. It...

Which 5.0 Computer and Timing Setting?

I just got my 5.0 conversion running (1989 Mustang 5.0/1993 Mustang Harness). Due to cash for clunkers, I was able to score four different computers from my local wrecking yard. What computer should I run from the list below? Are there any differences? What timing setting do you recommend...

    5.0 Conversion is Alive!!

I posted a problem concerning a "no start" for my 5.0 conversion. I found the problem. Pin 40 and 60 grounds. It runs!!! I want to thank everyone on this forum for all the guidance and replies to my questions. I really appreciate it. I am very much feeling the Bronco brotherhood.

BC Bronco 2 into 1 exhaust pics?

Putting on my BC Bronco 2 into 1 exhaust kit today. I am running stock exhaust manifolds. The pictures on their website show that the design of the pipe plumbing may have changed somewhat?? I will more than likely be able to figure it out. Anyone have any pics? This would help. The kit did not...

EFI Wont Start...I am soooo close

I got it running!!! It was the grounds pin 40 and 60. Pulled the harness and went through it. I made a stupid but honest mistake. There is a circuit breaker on the starter relay with a black/white wire. When I pulled the harness out of the wrecking yard the grounds were already cut and near this...

EFI Wont Start...I am soooo close

Thanks Viperwolf. The issues seem to be pointing to the grounds. Would it be a bad idea to put jumpers on the back of the 60 pin connector between pins 20,40 and 60 just to see if it runs? I don't want to cook the computer, this is why I have been reluctant to do it. I know it is not the cure...

EFI Wont Start...I am soooo close

My check engine light is hooked up, but I don't get anything. The EEC power relay does click and hold. I checked pin #1, I wired it to supply constant 12V which checked out. After everyone's input I am suspecting the EEC is not powering up and it could be caused by a ground problem.

EFI Wont Start...I am soooo close

I believe(??) the EEC is turning on. I checked the three injectors that are easy to get to. I have voltage from the red leads going to the injectors with the key on. Good call that the TFI will fire without the computer. I didn't know this. I measured 29 ohms at pin 40 and 60 by checking...

EFI Wont Start...I am soooo close

My EFI wont start. 1989 5.0 Mustang Engine/1993 Ford Mustang Factory Harness. I read through DanWheeler's (person on forum) who posted a troubleshooting link. Here is what I am looking at: 1. Engine fires when starting fluid is sprayed down throttle body 2. Fuel pump comes on when grounded to...

    Starter Relay "I" post

I am confused as to what the purpose of the "I" post does on the starter relay. What application is this used for?

    Ammeter Elimination with 3G

Thanks guys. This answers my questions. I appreciate the input. Dirt Donk - It is what I was asking. I will use the black/yellow for accessories. Also it is a 1972 and has the plug in connection between the two at the ammeter gauge. Steve83 - Good idea for accessories also.
