Wow. Two posts in one night on HEI and oil pressure. First thought I had a gauge issue as was doing a Centech install at the same time as a new DUI unit. (too many changes at the once). Turns out there was no oil pressure although I can't say for sure as gauge tested good and tried two sending...

You can ground the sending wire and the gauge should peg full if working right. I just went through almost the same thing last weekend except just my temp and pressure gauge. I was finishing a new Centech install & DUI at the same time on my restore and thought it was just electrical problems...

My late 04 6.0 crew cab 4x4 had a quite a few warrenty issues early on...egr, injectors, ect. Going on 200k now with nary an issue in quite awhile. Daily driver and tow rig. Not the best rock crawler...hence the early bronco project.

In the process of installing fresh brakes in my 77 and have a question on the caliper hose conection. I seem to recall that the rib on the end of the line where it banjo bolts to the caliper was facing the ground on the original (allready tossed out - mistake) and the new line and calipers...
