This. In the middle of my restore and have touched up the frame several times from Welding brackets, bumps scrapes etc. Single stage is much easier to touch up.
Now that we know it's an electrical pump. I'd try a test, get a piece of flat stock and lower the pump mount a couple of inches and see if you can get more fuel out of the tank.
I'm confusing myself so I figure better to just ask.

Looking thru the parts I think the Std bolts for the pressure plate are longer than the auto.
Should I order new, or can they stand up...
Port-a-power would be the best way, but just shy of that, the largest diameter all-thread, and some large washers and bolts. Applying some heat would help. Mine was in the other direction and had to be pushed down.
Called Tom's. As we guessed they are for alignment. Shortening them isn't an issue, and the tech stated that removing one wouldn't cause an issue. I'll probably shorten the inboard pair as the autist in me wants them to be symmetrical.

Agreed, the whole hyperspark system is in my shopping cart waiting until I need it in my restoration. Like to have some real world opinions. Also kind of hoping that it would go on sale at some point but I don't think that's going to happen
