I love my hardtop but damn it’s noisy

Broncos were cheap noisey vehicles from new. And, the saying was and still is........."unsafe at any speed" Oh you can hope all you want.......ain't gonna' change a thing. Oddly I still like em' Been in them since '66

Opinions on Rust Bullet versus other anti-rust tricks?

No need to transfer. Simply punch two holes in "non removed" lid. I shake it, pour out what I need and insert a couple of wood screws in the two holes. Lasts for years. The insturctions state "do not shake as it creats bubbles" Once the Por is poured thru the tiny hole in the lid? Most...

Opinions on Rust Bullet versus other anti-rust tricks?

That is funny you bring up Rustoleum. An excellent product (oil base). I just got in a small patio table and two chairs out of the Hollywood Hills and the owner insisted on oil base Rustoleum. I am a huge fan of the product as well.

Opinions on Rust Bullet versus other anti-rust tricks?

Por-15. Been using it for decades. But......in my business the metal needs to be clean enough to eat off of before treatment. Prior to applying, doing a rough up referred to as "tooth" is needed on the metal. It gives the treatment areas to grab on to. Doing it right the first time...

KS Bronco Collection going up for sale

Perhaps I didn't word it correctly. Seller state an "ask for" price then work it out. But, to come out of the blue with an offer, welp it isn't how we do it. The goal would be the seller and buyer are close to being on the same page. But that's us and of course not everyone does things in...

KS Bronco Collection going up for sale

Let me give you a little advice. My parter deals in Ferrari, Lambos, Aston's etc. I, vintage Porsches...the kind you only see in magazines. We always price them. When you play the game of make an offer, it makes the buyer an ex buyer. Don't play games, it gets you no where. If you go to...

    Ever Wondered.......

First off, I like early Broncos bone stock and women straight. If Broncos are so wonderful, then why do folks want to change them? Just buy a new one. I read here that folks are doing all the changes and beating themselves into coma over it. It's probably cuz I'm old and clueless. Is...

    1966 budd body restoration

You got money to burn? I always times two with what ever estimate I invent. The one you are looking at has had the front floors done. That's just the start to your trip thru hell. That price looks cheap now but be careful. Rant over.

What to ask for project Bronco? 1967 & 1974

Rust is everything in my dealings. Rust repair done correctly is very expensive. All you can do is throw a price out there and see if anyone bites. My useless 2cents

    Bronco sale?

You my friend have "burn out." How do I know? I've done vintage Porsches for decades. One day, woke up and BAM ! No more '58 Speedsters or Factory 904 Same with early Broncos. One day it just happened. Now a vehicle is just a vehicle.

Moving to San Diego - where to get work done?

Yes, the Porsche "thing" repair issue is out of control. Had a buddy last year have his '84 Carrera engine and trans rebuilt.....$38K. That is why I got out of it. I was deep into it. I hung out with a guy that had a factory 904. In the end, like early Broncos....it's just a vehicle...
