Maybe.
If you have the Bronco C4, you have the correct 164 tooth count. So that is a good start.

The next question is what bolt pattern do you have on the C4? The Bronco used 2 different bolt patterns over the years. 11-7/16 or 10-1/2" If you have the 11-7/16 you are in luck, you can use that one. If the 10-1/2", you need to change it.

Typically (nothing is for sure when dealing with 40+ year old vehicles) the '73 and '77 were the correct large one. The '74-76 were the small one. But the small one has been obsolete for many years now. If anyone needed a new small flexplate the fix was to put in the large bolt circle flexplate and matching torque convertor. As a package they do interchange.

So I'll simply leave it at this, maybe.

There is also a difference btw some of the AOD/4r70 plates. Some are almost .040" deeper dished than others. With some torque converters they won't seat properly because of the difference.

Make sure you double check this on the bench before installation day. It's more common than most realize.

I thought that was when someone was using a C6 flexplate. Those have a different offset.

Nope. It happened to me as I replaced a C4/4r70w flexplate and I personally know one guy it happened to and texted another guy that had the same issue. I texted him to clarify to make sure.

Using a 4r70W flexplate, buy a new one that states right on the box it's for a C4 & 4r70W and it has interference issues when bolted up.
