If you're tired of dealing with the junkie 23 gallon tank sending units here's a new option.

Stainless steel sending unit

No arm or poorly built parts to wear out, the black slide simply free floats on the sealed shaft.

Correct 10-73 Ohm range for early Bronco - Two I have done were dead on, on the other I had to adjust the needle in the gauge as per factory recommendations.

11 inches long (allows for proper clearance and small reserve)

Comes with new rubber gasket and stainless screws (slight larger) but suggest just using your existing screws.

Shipping included.

Yes, I have 8 more as of right now. I had these custom ( correct ohms
and 11 inch length) made cause I got tired of replacing the other junky ones.

Looks like you'll have to do some hole drilling to make this work in a BC/Sherman tank? Have you installed it in one of those?

I will pull one out and take a look, I think I have a Sherman tank on one or two here. If it uses the standard 5 screw tank sending unit, it should work but I will confirm.

Will it work on the standard Aero 23 gallon tank? If so , I'm interested!

I think I returned all the messages, if not feel free to message me.

The sending units will definitely work with the aero fuel tank and all stainless tank. I believe the Sherman tank also, but if someone wants to try let me know and I'll work something out.

One installation note is the holes for the standard and this replacement are not identically spaced around the circle, so if things do not lineup the first time rotate it from screw hole to hole. Usually the electric wires end up facing toward the back of the Bronco. So far there are 4 confirmed installs, everyone so far has reuse their existing screws.

Got mine yesterday, looks great. Not sure when I'll get around to actually installing it.

Thanks!

It'll take more time than I have right now to drop the tank and install mine, but I did go out and hook up the sending unit wire and ground on mine today and check the readings on my gauge. Amazingly, the gauge read 'F' when the unit was in the full position and it read 'E' when at the bottom. None of the swing arm units I've used over the years in NWMP tanks and my BC/Sherman tank ever went all the way to 'F'. The unit is a few inches short of the bottom of the tank - based on my calculations there will be 3-4 gallons left in the tank when the sending unit gets to 'E'. My current swing arm sending unit hits 'E' when I have 7-8 gallons left so I think it'll definitely be an improvement.

I am sold out right now but reached out to my contact at the manufacturer and ordered 10 more. Figuring 2 weeks or so hopefully, they were custom made and nothing they normally stock.

Feel free to PM me or post here if you want one. I don't really want any money until I have them to send out.
