It’s good when you actually get a win:cool:

Yes, Now to find a gear set for it.
I see 4.88 jumps way up in price for this carrier. 5.13 would do but I can't find a set to match the sterling.
so 5.38 would be the next one up.

Steve,
What gear ratio do you recommend that I go with?
I'm committed to 37" tires. it's a built 351W, I have transmission options, stick to my NP435 or a built AOD with 4R70W gears and internals. I drive rig as daily driver and wheel with it off road here in the island.

4.56 with the 435, unless you never get over 55 or at least for very long, it will work with the AOD as well. However with the AOD you could get deeper, even 5.38 but I really think you'll be happier with 4.88-5.13. I wish at interstate speeds, 70+.... that I had 4.88 but am very happy with the 4.56's on the trail and at speeds 65 or less. its the wind giving me issues at higher speeds, its just a brick.

I'm liking the 4.56 in the d44/9" now but with D-locker carrier I just got, there's no 4.56 reverse cut gears available for the HP D60.
4.88 it is. Thanks.

4.88 will be a nice "in- between". Like Steve I loved my 4.56 gears with 35"s and 37" for 18 yrs with the ZF and 4r70. I ran a doublers the entire time so low gears weren't ever an issue but with the 351highway speeds at 70 were fine. 418 made it even nicer for pulling long grades..
