I'm running full width axles (79 Bronco D44) & Bloody Knuckle arms. I'm going to look at a set of used 17" rims tomorrow. I was wondering what the max backspacing I can use. Because of the full width & long arms, I'm not too worried about shock interference, but am worried about the hub hanging out too far.

I assume an 8" or 9" wide rim, I want to run 37x12.5 tires, and think a 7" rim is too narrow. His pics sucked and he couldn't tell me how wide the rims are.
