Had a good time at the MEB meet and greet in Richmond Va, bronco did great, just took backroads most of the way and had an easy drive as I didn’t want to hurt the motor anymore. Sunday(today) came around and had a little Oopsie and yanked the motor out. Bent a finger on the pressure plate coming out so oh well, good excuse to buy a clutch which I’m pretty well decided on the centerforce dual friction. Having to change a couple more things than I had anticipated but oh well, I knew it wasn’t gonna be easy and planned a couple months ahead for supercel. See yall when it’s together ✌️

What a fight, if it weren’t for bad luck I wouldn’t have any at all. I think anything that could fought me, new motor had wrong water pump and timing cover. Once that was figured out, I took the flywheel to get turned which was pretty bad and got a centerline dual friction ordered.

Once the engine was finally in the truck and bolted up I made a final order for the last parts I needed. My dad let me use a set of headers he had on the shelf for 10 years. Passenger side went good but driver side was hitting clutch z bar and aimed right at driveshaft. I cut it apart and shortened it about 4” and welded it back up.

Wiring was simple with the msd 6al and new 130 amp alternator as well as getting factory front dress all back on with minimal work and fitting for belt alignment.

Finally got it fired up Saturday and she is rowdy. First fire up went smooth with almost no problems. Need to figure out a carb or do a lot of tuning on this one to get it where I like as it bogs and won’t even rev past 4500 under load. A lot of late nights all last week are finally paying off as I’ve been driving it a little so far, probably about 30 miles on it.

Next is exhaust which I’m planning on going magnaflows as I want a nice tame sound until I get on it. Can’t wait to really get this thing dialed in

Shew, been a little bit. Possums been down to Tennessee for super cel and did great and now guess what! It’s got another new motor. 351 was way too much, wrong cam and intake and some other stuff so decided to put it in a street car and picked up a 87 mustang roller motor for free. Long story short it’s back together and running great.
