Far right bottom is 76. Mine is missing some stuff from that one, like HP and RPM but since it's painted I can't see any of the what each thing is. But my lower left matches that, so the lower right should also.

Probably Richmond, 25?

I do notice that the dash light bars don't show up until the first round of Q's. That could have been a significant reason to hold up the production of the '73s.

Hello, on mine R201** it's an auto trans... Sorry I thought we were looking for that switch only on automatics and since it had a plug where the sensor went it was known to be auto so I didn't specify... Sorry.

Hey Viper I noticed another sort of anomaly in your sheet. My Bronco (R60108) was built in March 73. The one above me was also built in March 73 but has a number of R42669 which is considerably less than mine for the same month...by almost 20,000.

No problem. The auto used a switch on the passenger side of the trans. I've seen a few '72-'73 era C4's that had the boss tapped and plugged (they also require a special valve body) but later years won't even be drilled. See the red arrow.

That is not abnormal. Ford went through about 20,000 sequence numbers each month at the Lansing plant. Remember, the sequence numbers were shared between Broncos and trucks.

Mine is Q25650 .. Manual trans ..T shifter .. 2 Tanks . No return on my carb when I got it . It did have that vapor tank behind the seat in the rear quarter and I think it had 4 lines on it. Manual steering . Yes it has the dash Lights.
. Title says 1973 .. I'll have to look for that sensor.

That's right, I keep forgetting it includes trucks as well.

Viperwolf,
I have a 72 and per the VIN (on the title) N019 it was built in November. Dirtdonk thought it had a 73 wheel well for power steering. It came with manual steering and manual trans.

Could that be November of '71 then TAC? Instead of '72?
I don't doubt what is said on the door decal. It just looks now, like yours fits into the very first part of that list. What with an "N01" and all.

What about the dash bars and other stuff?

Paul,
Well, you are about to pass my limited knowledge. Perhaps the bronco is more of a mutt than I thought. The VIN on the title (marked as 72) matches the tag on the glove box. I know it had an early Dana 44 which I thought came out in 72?

I could never find a door jam or hood tag. There is a tag on the hinge side of the drivers door marked Stemco and a long code number. Never knew what that was?

Would love to figure this out if you can direct me on where to look?

Thanks,
Todd

Looking at your other post; the original air cleaner housing had the cold air snorkel.

Not sure what you mean about dash lights for the controls?
