I noticed Red has the 39s for the Bama Brawl, Ford Man. Did you tell me you sold the 19-44s? My half cab trail truck still has the trans buzz in reverse and I was thinking you could bring those 44's and I will put them on Old Blue(even though its not a Bronco):Dand ride! We might have to trim or beat the fenders into submission for the big meats but those 8 lugs should bolt up! What do you think? You can see a little room around those little 35s!

fordman sweet truck what really caught my eyes was the flairs they look nice on the truck where did they come from ?

Hey broncojames, I don't know if fordman can answer your question on the flares....He's only driven the truck once or twice! I think the flares are older bushwacker flares for '73-'79 F series trucks and '78-'79 Broncos. I think they were purchased from J.C.Whitney about 15 years ago. They are smooth flares that are painted '77 Ford truck "Silver Poly". They really fit nice. Thanks:) PS ....The last photo is really not related to the question about the flares, but it IS what makes them protect the body from flying rocks!
Not to hijack your thread Ford Man..........Your trans assembly looks great...Maybe someday we can have a NEW body for your chassis!

Stroppe "Baja" Fender Cut-outs

HaHa.....I thought the title would get your attention! The '73 is half way to LUBER status with "Original Baja cut-outs". Just kidding..They are red though..The red cut-outs on a blue tub did remind me of Baja colors. Here are some photos of it in the "white" or "raw" before any finishing. We still have some metal work before blasting.:-[

Hay ford fan I used to drive a big unit and stopped at a fuel stop there in
Heflin, Alabama. I can't recall the name of the stop, but it was always late at night and the guy that worked there was a real JOKER.His name was Harry. He was a huge BAMA fan also.

Yes, half cab..... I read your post and forgot to respond because of all we had going.....Supercelebration, etc. I'm sure the station was the Stateline BP Fuel Center at exit 205. That store is only about 3 miles from our shop. The guy you are talking about was Harry Mayfield. He died a while ago (2 years) with cancer. Harry was a great fellow though... He and my dad went to HS together.....and yes he was a BAMMER!

Got the left fender in today .....removed seam sealer, tar, undercoating, and a bunch more junk that would slow the soda blaster. I didn't realize how many holes are in the bed area of a U15 that aren't in a U14!!!! Holes EVERYWHERE!!! Ford Man, I quess you want it as slick as the black one in the shop???HUH?!?
