¡2021 NORRA Mexican 1000!

With the 2020 season cancelled, many, but not all are returning for the 2021 Baja race adventure because of the strange times we're in.

Some racers are still sidelining because of COVID risks and may join us for the 500 later in the Fall.

Baja Sur is going the wrong way, COVID case-wise. Most likely, it's due to Spring Breakers in La Paz & Cabo partying it up and spreading it unknowingly.

Because of this NORRA was forced to go to Plan II and plot a loop race confined to Baja Norte rather than the annual peninsula run to Cabo. Many have dropped out because of this, but GauchoMarksRacing along with over 140 other 'never give up, never surrender' racers are in for the win!

We start our testing process tomorrow at Outlet Center Drive in Barstow to shake out those hidden gremlins that Baja will surely find if we don't.

Thanks Jeff, and you guys for the support! It will be a different race this year for sure. Fortunately, we still get to do the 1st and 2nd legs to San Felipe and Bahia de Los Angeles, then a BoLA loop and back up. Better than just doing an Ensenada loop for sure.
