It's that time already! The second weekend in September, Heflin, AL, the annual Ford Jamboree. On September 8th, we will kick it off with a dinner cruise leaving at 5:00 PM CST from the Heflin City Park and cruising to probably about 25 miles to eat, and then cruising back. With the dinner cruise, we need a RSVP to help out with planning the meal. Saturday, September 9th is the show at the Heflin City Park, which is only 2 blocks off Almon, or the main drag through Heflin. The posted hours of the show is 8 to 2. There will also be a Saturday cruise after the show. We usually have the Classic Bronco well represented plus there's plenty of other Ford's to admire! Everyone is welcome and it is only 2 miles off I-20 half way between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL.

There's a FaceBook page, "Alabama Ford Jamboree" that shares more info...

Please post up past event pictures, because everyone knows we like them!

I'm in Birmingham and may be able to ride over on Saturday. I won't be able to bring my Bronco but I'd love to come see some others.

Steve pretty much has the Stanley completed, but much like a Bronco, there's constant maintenance. He goes on these steamer rallies in the spring every year where a large group of steam powered cars meet and tour for a week. I think this past rally was in Maine.. I think..
Here's a couple of pics. Steve's is the blue touring car. It is a 'condensing car', meaning it has a condenser, which looks like a radiator instead of the coffin nose of the non-condensing cars..

Pictures coming...... It was a good one! I hope some other guys got pics. Probably about 30-35 Broncos and a bunch of other cool stuff! A 1931 Model AA dump truck, a Model T coupe, a '68 Shelby GT500KR, a '67 Mustang fastback 427 car, a bunch of F100s, F150s, F250s, Falcons, Shoebox Fords, a Ford GT40 and shoot, there was even a '59 F100 factory four wheel drive truck!

Lauren drove her Bronco about 300 miles, one way, to attend the show. This picture is some of the "Bronco gurus" diagnosing a little front end issue.
