I Have a '73. It is mostly stock but the rear fenders have been cut. I was wondering if anybody runs 35" tires with a 3.5" lift. The front fenders are not cut. Im assuming I will have to do this at the minimum. Also Im sure I might have to do a 1-2" body lift for a little extra clearance. Any help will be greatly apprieciated. Thanks in advance. Mike

I'm putting a 1" BL to go along with the 3.5"SL to give it a little more room. I also have the 3" backspace on the wheels so it tends to hit the fender in the front until I cut it. This pic is the 'Before' I started the frame-off and it has the 35X10.5 R15 Pitbull Rockers:cool:

35's, 3.5" WH coils with Deaver leafs. Get the correct height bump stops to limit the rubbing. This one has all that and no body lift.

I have to trim the lower front to clear with the smaller backspace. I had 31X10.50's w/4" backspace and they would rub the radius arms, that's why I went with the 3". It will probably clear the fender with a 3.5" or 4" backspace but I think it will rub the radius arm.

I have 3.5", 35" tires with NO bodylift. Had to trim a bit of inner fender structure, but not much. It'll rub the radius arms at full lock, but that's a wheel issue.

I LOVE maximum tires with the lowest possible center of gravity look and handling!

Yes, 15x10". It's not mine, but I wheel with this guy all the time. It gets used.

35's

35x12.5x17 3.5BS with 1" spacers and they just hit the radius arms so I adjusted the stops on the knuckles a tad.

3.5 TBP SL with 1" WH BL

So far so good

35" plus WH 3.5" lift and 1" body lift. I would prefer the 2" body lift and will change it someday.

3.5 james duff lift, 1.5 body lift on 35/12.5/15 maxxis mudders on 10" wheels... no problem. i'm going to a 8" wheel to get a little more tire height and to tuck the wheels back under the flares. still shouldn't have a clearance issue

Did it. 35 x 12.5 bfg a/t on 16x8 in wheels (-6 offset) with 3.5 in wild horses lift. Minimal rubbing at full lockout. No problems. Still going to cut front fenders.
