Great feedback! No pun intended… Thanks for following up and looking forward to more follow up as your experiment. Thanks.

I had two interesting observations. I just got the sweet new Wild Horses catalog and while flipping through I saw all the flashers they sell for LED come with the reverse polarity adapter. So I checked Tom’s. They also have the adapters. Paul you mentioned the polarity before so I’ll give you the “I told you so” point. I’m going to put the LED lights back in and switch polarity to see what happens.

Polarity of the actual LED bulb matters to. When I swapped all
Mine about half didn’t work so I flipped bulb 180 degrees and that fixed the problem. LEDs are finicky and frustrating but love the light and low draw on the electric system.

Updates:

The float on my new fuel sending unit was cracked and not floating. Installed a new sending unit and it works. I thought they were copper but apparently not. I can stick my fingernail in it.

For the hazard flasher I switched the polarity on the flasher and it works with all LED lights. Problem solved. Should have listened to Paul better. Lesson learned.

Now all 3 issues are fixed. Thanks for all the input. I hope my flasher experience helps someone else.
