I have a 74 Bronco, 302, 2 barrel with some sort of "module" with a black wire bolted to the front of the intake. the wire has a connector end but is not hooked up. Any idea what it would be for?

Is it the Throttle position solenoid attached to the carb? or maybe an obsolete NOX device from the late 70"s without a picture just guessing. Become a contributor so you can post pictures.

If this the part you’re talking about, it’s a throttle solenoid.
