302 into 350

Just swap in a 351 it will be more relieable. Than a 302 stroked that far out.

that stroke should be ok .........what is you compression ratio. If its not too high and you don't drag race everytime you drive it. It should last you longer than you think. My dad has a stroked 331 in his 65 fastback........runs like a top......doesn't run hot (might want to add a hi po aluminum rad). drives the hell out of it regularly. if the engine work was done professionally and the right prep to the block it should be fine.

Going to a 350 is an odd number for a 302. 347 is the common stroker big stroker for the 302. What specs (bore and stroke) is this 350 going to be? If you are more then .030 overbore then you might want to give up on that block. Stroker kits put a lot more stress on the cylinder bores due to the short rod ratios. Also small block fords are known for running hot when more then .030 overbore.

I would recomend a 351 over a stroked 302 in a bronco anyday. There are a few of us still running a stock hood with a 351. Econoline intake and short airfilter. That's with no body lift either.

yall have me scared now! i am finishing it up now and i will tell you how this ends up when i get it running on the road. i don't think i will be taking it slow anytime soon either, just to hard to do
