Is the oil pan on my 302 interchangeable onto the 351W that I'm stroking out to 408?
I have asked so many questions it like it is going to be a community build.

Thank you in advance?

No, the oil pan is one of the few items that doesn't interchange between the two.
Neither do the Intake or distributor.

The specific reason it won't interchange is the rear radius of the pan is larger on the 351. The block has larger main bearings and the rear main bearing cap is what the oil pan seals against. In the early days of the 351W swap you would need to cut and splice the back of a 351 pan to the main body of the 302 Bronco pan. And really hope your fab skills were good enough that everything (bolt holds) lined up and you didn't warp the pan with all the welding. And if all that was good, you also hoped you didn't have any pinhole leaks in your welding.

Which is why some suppliers used to ask you to send in your old pan for a core before they would send you a 351 pan.

Do the same swap, didn't realize the dizzy would not swap... crap! How about the cam is it the same? Are the two the same firing order? I am betting not.

The cams are all "swappable" and will physically fit into the blocks. You just have to make sure that you wire your distributor per the firing order of the camshaft.
If you're running factory EFI, most of them follow the 351 firing order, while some early models might have been setup for the earlier 302 (non-HO) firing order. While the injector timing is not as finicky, the ignition timing is critical. So make sure you wire your distributor to the cam, whichever way it goes.

Did you change the cam? If so, just verify what firing order it is, and go from there.

The bore hole in the block is slightly larger on the 351, as is the oil pump driveshaft.

Try to put a 302 distributor in a 351 and it will be slightly sloppy fit in the block, but you will never get that far since the oil pump shaft will block it.
Try and put a 351 distributor in a 302 and it will be too big to go in the hole.
