351 AOD with np205 questions

Don't have to, but would make installation easier.
The 351 alone can be a tricky fit by itself, you need the right intake, carb, air cleaner. Easy to stack that engine to the point it won't fit under a stock height hood. The AOD will fit but the 205 may take a little floor massage.

I used a 2 inch body lift on mine. Made it much easier, my 205 is close to the floor boards. about a half inch clearance.

how does your 205 set compared to the frame im having issues the part of the transfer case where the mount goes to connect to the frame is at a weird angle???? it should be square with the frame and tried to rotate it down some then nothing lines up. NEED HELP

The upper drivers side of the NP205 that is flat should be vertical if you clock like factory. I do not have a body lift and shoved mine all the way up in the tunnel until it hit the e-brake mounting bracket on the floor then lowered it about .25 for clearance. The drop side going to the front axle is a few inches below the frame. Hope that helps.
