Hi Everyone,

I've read quite a few threads on which headers to use with a 351W. Most did not come to any specific conclusion, other than heating up and bending the tubes out of the way of the z bracket for the clutch on a manual. I'll share my experience here.

I have a '72 with no body lift, but 3.5" suspension lift. I had Headman long tube headers with the 302 block. With the 351, the drivers side header hits the z bracket for the clutch.

Bronco hut's shorty headers were the only ones I found listed to specifically work with a 351W and manual transmissions. I expect no issues finishing up the exhaust with these.

Happy father's day, and happy building everyone!

Duffy long tubecheaders work with the 351w but you have to ben the clutch bracket a little. I tried hedmans but they didn't fit

With the ones from BH you may have to slightly and I mean slightly modify the P side inner fender. I had to and so did a few others. This seems to only be an issue with a 351w if you call it an issue.
