There are quite a few EB's out there with 460s....400s..390s.. The "big" engines do fit, with varying degrees of difficulty but none of it major, IMO.

What would you do for the air inlet elbow and throttle body on that EFI engine..

I think you need to modify the firewall a bit to squeeze it in, but I could be wrong. I think the 460 is about 5" longer than the 302/351W. They are heavy, so you need to take that into consideration. Especially if you also have a winch also. It can get quite nose-heavy. I think a 460 is about 200 lbs heavier.

Forget mounts and use motorplates. You can sink it pretty far down then. Use an electric-remote water pump (CSR, Mezier - NOT PROCOMP) and you will shave a lot of room from the nose. We put one in and it fit under the hood... Almost:) But with a lower intake manifold it could fit easily. Go for it. Be different:)

Do they make a air intake lower than the one on it now?Should I just change the intake over to except a carb?

Overall its not going to be worth the effort unless you just want to be different or intend on some type of mud bogging ro sand draggin.

It's always worth the effort to be different.:) Everyone told me to drop in a sbf in my ranger, but the 429 just makes me grin everytime I look at it.:) Hehehe.

Broncos are already different. I dont know I just look at it differently a 302 or 351 is a nice setup for a bronco and you still have room to work on it. Stuff a big block in there and a simple spark plug change becomes a hassel. And those 90's EFI 460's are kind of limited. cant really change them to carburation the EFI system has little support so your kinda stuck with a more or less stock 460.

I think I will stick with the 302 that came out of my 74 and mildly build it since my wife drives it back and forth to her work.THE 460 seems to be more work than its worth.right now she drives my 97 3/4 ton 4x4,with a 460 in it and gets about 10 miles gallon!!!!!!!!!

Get out a tape measure and start measuring before you get too far into this idea. They have been done. There are very good reasons you don't see them that often. I'll just simplify it and state a LOT of compromises have to be done to stick it in there.
